FHM (eng. For Him Magazine) is an English entertainment magazine, founded in 1985 by Chris Ostridge. The magazine began publication in 1985 in the UK called "For Him" and changed its name to FHM in 1994 when the company "Emap Consumer Media" bought the magazine, although the full name "For Him Magazine" continues to be printed on the spine of each issue.In February 2008, FHM was sold to EMAP to German company Bauer Media Group.In November 2015 it was announced the intention of the owners to close the publication.The publication ceased to exist in early 2016.
